UX/UI design for Original Cooking App. “CooKit” is a meal planning app that allows one to discover endless recipes through filtered personalization. I took inspiration from my time as a university student, as balancing classes with cooking was not so easy. Each user will be able to create weekly meal plans catered to them to make their life more efficient. Users can also save recipes in different album collections based on the category of the meal and can also post what they make to the community section, building further engagement and serving as motivation for people to inspire one another. For this project, I broke down similarly existing apps to learn what can be improved for the user experience and branding. I utilized a simple, warm color palette and layout to make it feel cozy and practical. This app will serve as a tool to help one feel more organized and guide them in expanding their culinary practices in a way that works best for them. Let’s CooKit!
